Fall Creek Elementary Wants Your UPCs and Labels for Fundraising Efforts

Donate Your Campbell’s, Box Tops and Tyson’s Labels To Help Children

Fishers, IN - -  The Parent Teacher Organization for Fall Creek Elementary (F.C.E.) is asking the public to donate their Campbell’s UPCs, Box Tops and Tyson labels to their school.  These items are currently being collected by the school’s children to obtain additional educational items for the school.

“If you don’t have a place that you currently turn in these items, please consider donating to Fall Creek Elementary instead of throwing them away,” stated P.T.O President, Teresa Ferry.  “We would happily accept these items which benefit our school’s academic program.”

Campbell’s, Tyson and Box Tops all have programs designed specifically for schools which award them free educational tools and money nationwide for their collection efforts.  Not all schools participate in these programs, but Fall Creek Elementary has established an organized effort.

Please tear off the UPC codes on the labels of the following products: Campbell’s soups/beans/gravies, Goldfish, V8, Chunky, Franco-American, Prego, Swanson, and Pepperidge Farms.  Also turn in the entire Tyson labels with “Project A+” black box and the pink rectangular “Box Tops” on hundreds of participating products, such as General Mills, Avery, Huggies, Pillsbury, Ziploc and many more.  F.C.E. is not in need of any actual food donations, just the labels.

Proceeds benefit every F.C.E. classroom by providing many educational tools to enhance the students’ learning.  The current teacher wish lists for the Campbell’s program include pencil sharpeners, classroom easels, playground equipment, hole punches, Discovery Channel educational videos, phonics labs and much more.  The more UPCs collected, the more items they can order from Campbell’s school catalog.

One additional collection effort at F.C.E. is to turn in the aluminum tabs from your pop cans.  These tabs are then donated to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis.

All items may be dropped off at the school’s main office or by mailing it in an envelope to Fall Creek Elementary, Attn: Campbell’s/Box Tops, 12131 Olio Road, Fishers, IN 46037.  For more questions, please feel free to call 579-1418.

With around 700 kindergarten through 4th grade students, the mission of Fall Creek Elementary is to build a lasting foundation on which the educational, social, and emotional growth of our students can be achieved within a diverse society.  For more information on Fall Creek Elementary, please visit www.hse.k12.in.us/FCE, stop by 12131 Olio Road in Fishers or call 317-594-4180.
