Fencing & Satellite Dish
Policies
Fencing
Three
configurations may be used. The management company and board have helpful
diagrams.
Fence
styles are the Presidential or the Royal fence. They must be white vinyl and
are available from Fairland Fence and Deck LTD, 317/835-8300.
Configuration 1: Enclosure
The fence
may come off the back wall of the condo unit and run the unit’s width.
However, the distance from the unit shall not exceed two feet beyond the
patio’s edge. One four-feet gate may be placed six feet from the patio end
of the fence width.
Configuration 2: L-Shape
You may
place one 10-feet section coming off the back wall of the condo, with a
six-feet section at right angles to it running along the patio’s edge. You
may in no instance extend the fence more than two feet from the patio’s back
edge.
Configuration 3: Privacy
Section
You may
use one section of fence that extends perpendicular to the condo as long as
the distance it extends out is no greater than two feet beyond the distance
the patio extends from the condo.
Satellite Dishes
If you
are interested in installing a satellite dish on your property line, a
policy is established to guide you. DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES OR ALTERATIONS
UNTIL ARDSELY MANAGEMENT IS NOTIFIED AND APPROVAL GIVEN. If you install a
dish and do not follow the guidelines, you will be asked to remove it at
your expense.
1.
Satellites must not be larger than 18”.
2.
Satellites must be installed on three-feet poles in backs of homes
within six feet of the building.
3.
Homeowners must call the utility location company prior to dish
installation.
4.
If a dish is installed over underground utilities, homeowners should
understand that utility companies have the right to remove or damage
satellite dishes in the event line repairs are necessary. Utility companies
will not be responsible for reinstalling dishes or dish repairs.
5.
No satellite dishes may be attached to buildings, roofs, decks,
patios, or any other structure on the building.
6.
If a dish will not receive a signal from the designated location,
homeowners may submit a written request to the board to obtain an alternate
installation location. Homeowners should not install such dishes without
receiving prior written approval from the board.
7.
Care should be exercised around landscape material.
