A call for Hospitality
STAR Nominees
The Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau wants to recognize
the extraordinary works of the county’s hospitality industry through a
quarterly hospitality recognition program. In 2007, the bureau
recognized nearly twenty Hamilton County hospitality employees.
The Hamilton County CVB encourages all county tourism businesses,
organizations, residents and visitors to nominate outstanding staff
persons for the Hamilton County STAR (Superior Tourism Achievement
Recognition) Program. Nominations will be compiled and awarded each
quarter. For the first quarter, applications will be accepted thru March
24, 2008.
Applicants must work or volunteer for county attractions, shops, hotels,
restaurants or other tourism-related businesses. Candidates should
posses an excellent record of customer service, a professional attitude,
a courteous and kind manner, and a willingness to go beyond what is
required to welcome the community’s 1.7 million visitors annually.
Winners will receive a recognition gift and dinner out at one of the
county’s restaurants. All nominees will be acknowledged.
Applications are available at www.HamiltonCountyTowns.com under Hamilton
Co. Biz or by contacting Judy Erner at jerner@hamiltoncountytowns.com.
Complete applications must be returned to the visitors bureau either by
faxing 317-848-3191, email at jerner@hamiltoncountytowns.com or mailing
it to 37 E. Main Street, Carmel, 46032.
The Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau promotes tourism
growth through strategic marketing, hospitality and community
development initiatives.
