“The Fishers Chamber of Commerce connects
nearly 900 members to important issues, people, trends and solutions to
sustain and grow their businesses. The Chamber has formed a partnership
to bring the SBDC to Fishers. This service supports the Chambers mission
to help grow businesses and create new jobs” said Christi Wolf, Fishers
Chamber President & CEO.
According to the SBA, 50% of small businesses fail within the first 5
years. In high growth communities, such as Fishers, business owners must
stay informed of the changing landscape facing their market. The SBDC
provides the tools these entrepreneurs need to stay informed and on top
of their business.
Nationally the SBDC network provides management and technical assistance
to more than 1.3 million small business owners and aspiring
entrepreneurs each year. Small business owners and aspiring
entrepreneurs can go to their local SBDCs for free face-to-face business
consulting and at-cost training on writing business plans, accessing
capital, marketing, regulatory compliance, international trade and more.
