Fishers chats with leaders 3/24

The Fishers Chamber of Commerce will offer two opportunities for Fishers residents and business representatives to speak with Fishers Town Council members on Monday, March 24. The two sessions held will be at 7:30 a.m. at the Fall Creek Township Building and at 5:30 p.m. at the YMCA Teen Center. No reservations are required.

"This venue provides an opportunity for residents and business representatives to get to know and informally talk with their Fishers elected officials outside of an official meeting setting," according to Chamber member Greg Beyerl, owner of Sign Craft Industries. Greg is active on the Chamber's Public Policy Council, and is organizing these meetings. "We think the direct, open interchange of ideas and opinions is healthy in and of itself and will also help make people interested in local politics so that they take the time to go to the polls during local elections."

Two Sessions will be held on March 24, 2008
7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Fall Creek Township Building
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - YMCA Teen Center.
