Fishers Safety Day is
July 12
Free information, handouts and activities for children and adults will
be among the highlights of this year's Safety Day, which will take place
on Saturday, July 12 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The annual event is hosted by the Fishers and Lawrence Township Fire
Departments, in partnership with Menards, Sam's Club, St. Vincent
Hospital and Walmart.
Visitors will be able to get safety information and handouts from a
variety of organizations.
Some of this year's highlights will include:
The Central Indiana Blood Center will be on-site to collect blood
donations. Donors who give at Safety Day will receive a $10.00 gift
certificate for the Fishers Texas Roadhouse.
Performances by Ronald McDonald, MC Axe and the Fire Crew and Mik the
Music Man
o 11:30- Ronald McDonald
o 12:30- MC Axe and the Fire Crew
o 1:30 - Mik the Music Man
Raffles for a Nintendo Wii & Wii Fit, a wood playset and an assortment
of gift cards to restaurants.
Helicopters, Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Police cars and other vehicles.
Kids activities, including a bounce house, firefighter course, and
ambulance course.
