Fishers council
president bets Noblesville mayor
Fishers Town Council President Scott Faultless and Noblesville Mayor
John Ditslear have agreed to a friendly wager on the first football game
scheduled in Lucas Oil Stadium featuring the Fishers Tigers and the
Noblesville Millers. The loser will wear the winning team’s jersey at
the following Council meeting. Fishers High School and Noblesville High
School will kick-off their football seasons at 6 P.M. on August 22nd at
Lucas Oil Stadium during the Peyback Classic.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Mayor Ditslear in a Tigers jersey during
his August 26th Council meeting,” said Scott Faultless, Fishers Town
Council President. “I am thrilled Fishers is playing our good neighbors
to the north in the first football game ever played in Lucas Oil
Stadium. Both communities and schools will be represented well during
the game.”
Said Mayor John Ditslear: “I think the Miller colors of black and gold
will look great on Scott Faultless when he sports his Miller wear at the
September 2nd Fishers Town Council meeting. In all seriousness, though,
this will be a great match-up and I know Coach Lance Scheib’s and Coach
Rick Wimmer’s players will provide a game to remember for everyone.”
If Fishers High School wins, Ditslear will wear the Tiger jersey at the
Tuesday, August 26th Noblesville City Council meeting. If Noblesville
High School wins, Faultless will wear the Millers jersey at the Tuesday,
September 2nd Fishers Town Council meeting. Both meetings begin at 7
P.M.
Fans may purchase tickets for $10 each at the athletic offices of
Fishers or Noblesville High Schools or at www.ticketmaster.com. The
Fishers and Noblesville game will kick off at 6 P.M. followed by a match
up between New Palestine and Whiteland at 8 P.M.
Each community has planned activities to celebrate and participate in
the game. Noblesville residents can call the Parks Department at (317)
776-6350 for more information.
